WORMANNE ARTS FESTIVAL 2022


Famed for showcasing the elaborate culture of Ghana through the exhibition of arts and manifestation of our uniqueness as a people, Native Tribe and Class Media Group presents Wormanne Arts Festival which is scheduled to take place from the 23rd - 25th of September 2022 at Korle Gonno. 

The 4th edition of the festival is dubbed "UBUNTU-UTHABITI which enables us to change our own narrative as we recover from COVID 19 through arts, culture and festivities". 

With blessings from the chiefs and elders of Korle Gonno, the festival kicked off with a grand launch at DeZone Beach which saw the attendance of several dignitaries who came to grace the occasion with their honorable presence. 

Several activities were lined up by Native Tribe to make this year's festival memorable which included The Pepsi Community GALA. A clean up exercise and health walk were all organized in anticipation of the grand celebration this weekend. 

This year's Wormanne Festival is going to be a spectacular display of culture, laced with mind blowing performances to share talented natives to the world on a big platform. This beautiful reality is set in the heart of Korle Gonno on the old Winneba Road.

ABELE FESTIVAL 2022 TO HAPPEN THIS OCTOBER


Abele Festival (AbeleFest) is a celebration of unity and culture through music and arts.

Being the first of its kind, Abelefest is the brainchild of Milla Lamptey, popularly known in the Ghanaian music industry as Gasmilla, a multi-talented artiste who sings and raps in the native language of the Ga tribe.

The Abelefest, will bring together the patrons, art and music lovers and festival natives to enjoy various delicacies and how they are prepared, and also enjoy an explosive and exciting musical concert from some finest Ghanaian musicians.

The event, which will take place on 8th October will throw more light on Abele (Maize), which signifies the end of hunger for the Ga Tribe.

The event will also gather core fans of the Azonto legendary Gasmilla and also project and promote true Ghanaian music. It will also celebrate some renowned role models in the Ga communities. Abelefest will most importantly educate and orient Ghanaians and the world at large of the food, fashion, dance, music and tradition of the Ga tribe.

Abelefest will take place from 6am to 12am at the Alliance Francaise following this criteria:
1. Preparation of the Kpokpoi or Kpekple meal
2. Fashion and food funfair
3. Networking and socialization
4. Gasmilla music concert

Organisers are set to wow all attendees at the maiden Abelefest '22.
